Within the dental industry, data security is of paramount importance. It is our responsibility to keep your data secure and protected; which is why in ten years, not one of our customers has experienced lost data due to hardware failure, a compromised server or other technical issues.
The Dental IT team has advanced skills and understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines such as the Data Protection Act, IG, ICO guidelines and NHS standards. We regularly review necessary legislation and guidelines to ensure our customers’ networks, and our own networks and services, are fully compliant.
Our IT support engineers treat all patient data with complete confidentiality and a formal confidentiality agreement is in place with all of our customers. We adopt a highly professional approach to customer interaction and ensure you are always kept informed of all network changes, planned maintenance works and legitimate updates.
Dental IT has an ethical business philosophy. Where possible, we minimise the usage of resources and recycle all IT equipment appropriately, donating usable equipment (securely erased) to charities and schools.
